We may use scoring methods or other automated decision making systems when assessing applications.
To prevent or detect fraud we will check your details with/against Group records and fraud prevention databases. It is important that you give us accurate information. Should our investigations identify fraud or the commission of any other criminal offence by you [on your part] when applying for, or during the course of your employment or duties with us, we will record the details of this on the relevant fraud prevention databases. This information may be accessed from the UK and other countries and used by law enforcement agencies and by us and other organisations to prevent fraud.
We and other organisations may also access and use this information to prevent fraud and money laundering, for example, when
• Checking details on applications for credit and credit related or other facilities
• Managing credit and credit related accounts or facilities
• Recovering debt
• Checking details on proposals and claims for all types of insurance
