Invoice Finance Administration Team Leader

Brief description

This role will lead the administration team to ensure critical client service, risk assessment and new business support duties are completed reliably in a time critical manner. This is a full-time permanent role and will incorporate line management.

Purpose of the role

Lead a team of administration staff to ensure client sales ledgers are maintained accurately, processing of cash and general sales administrative requirements including preparation of legal documentation.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Maintenance of accurate sales ledgers through data processing, cash allocation and debtor limit application
  • Completion of daily balancing routines
  • Analysis of client bank statements
  • Download credit reference agency and other similar reports
  • Support of sales team in compilation of submissions and progress application to completion
  • Preparation of legal documentation
  • Line manage Administration staff with focus upon performance and development needs
  • Minimum of 3 years’ invoice finance experience working within an operations team
  • Attention to detail and ability to retain concentration when completing tasks involving repetition
  • Team player and flexible, prepared to help other in achievement of team goals
  • Organised with ability to manage time particularly when working under time pressures
  • Professional and ability to work with confidential information
  • Understanding of core invoice finance documentation and security processes
  • IT competency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

Qualifications and experience

Must have worked in a similar role processing ledgers and receipts. All it would be preferable to have experience of managing others, or if not you must be willing to undertake relevant training.

Ideally will have achieved the ABFA qualification (Asset Based Finance Association).

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch).

Relevant training will be provided.
