Brief description

This role is an exciting opportunity to join an established change team within Paragon Group. The business has a high demand for planning and delivery of key strategic change programmes and this role is critical to supporting the analysis and planning stages, facilitating workshops, engaging stakeholders across the Group, gathering business requirements and developing business cases.

If you have experience of Agile and Waterfall preferably in a mortgage environment (Buy-to-Let, Residential and Second Charge Mortgage lending) or financial services, and analytical skills across the full change life cycle, then we would like to hear from you.

Purpose of the role

The purpose of the role is to understand business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analysing, documenting business requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders within agreed timescales and budgets. You will be required to represent the Group in a highly professional manner contributing to the outcomes of Business Change projects and programmes.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Draft business requirements to drive creative and considered solutions to the business
  • Deliver high quality, cost effective business analysis
  • Identify individuals and business areas who are affected by project changes to establish their level of interest and influence over projects
  • Proactively communicate and work with stakeholders to analyse information needs and functional requirement
  • Explore, analyse, challenge existing processes and policies working with key stakeholders to ensure change is appropriate and will deliver the Group’s objectives making them more efficient
  • Generate, document, verify and manage business requirements throughout projects
  • Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
  • Bring the most value possible in a solution to address business change ensuring all impacted parties are ready for the changes needed to accept solutions
  • Ensuring change management framework, methodologies and change control processes are followed throughout all projects
  • Draft project briefs and develop business cases
  • Supporting the business in their business readiness activities helping them to adapt and accept the change
  • Understands Business analyst methods and approaches through the attainment of CBAP/AAC or equivalent qualification
  • A focused proactive approach, self-motivated and able to acquire new skills and grasp concepts quickly
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels within the business and to justify positions or solutions using reasoned argument
  • Integrity, respect for confidentiality, sound judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure, to use initiative and to recognise and act upon priorities
  • Willing and able to adopt a flexible approach as required, to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules

Qualifications and experience

Preferable to have attained the CBAP/AAC qualification or equivalent

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch).

Relevant training will be provided.
