Brief description

An exciting opportunity for a sale’s driven leader. This person will be self-motivated with an energetic and enthusiastic approach to sales and have strong leadership skills. This full-time position is being created to grow the business and brings opportunity to build a successful team in an already well-established business.

Purpose of the role

Create and deliver an effective sales strategy for TBMC and Buy to Let Direct. Responsible for planning and executing sales initiatives to meet pre-determined targets and increase market share and revenue. A critical role in the growth of the company, specifically in the B to C marketplace.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Create and implement the company’s sales strategy and monitoring effectiveness in conjunction with the MD and Head of Marketing & Business Development.
  • Manage, develop and motivate the sales team to maximise sales opportunities and deliver exceptional service to all our Customers
  • Undertake 1:1’sand appraisals setting individual development plans and performance goals. Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the Team
  • Continually review sales techniques to drive increased sales and business growth
  • Attend industry events and conferences when needed to generate new business leads and promote TBMC as a mortgage partner
  • Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.
  • Presenting sales results to the board on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Working closely with the Head of Business support to keep up to date with the sales activities of competitors and utilising ideas where appropriate
  • Provide a non-advised sales service to landlord customers, offering guidance and information on Buy-to-let mortgage options
  • Drive own pipeline of direct customer sales

Qualifications and experience

Strong background and experience of working in Mortgage Sales. Must hold CEMAP or equivalent qualification. Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics is essential. Previous experience in a Management role is also required.

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm (one hour for lunch). Fridays 9am to 5pm (Half hour for lunch).
