Brief description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, analytical thinker to join our growing Insight team. If you are naturally curious with a passion for data, communication and driving continuous business improvement this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across a range of different target customers and research disciplines.

Purpose of the role

Support the Insight Manager and Head of Insight in the delivery of precise customer and market insight, striving to improve customer experience, influence business decision making and inform marketing and communication activities both internal and external.

Duties & responsibilities
Skills
  • Review feedback from customers to identify thematic challenges and drive for change and improvements
  • Interpret and distill data from a variety of sources, communicating findings in a clear and compelling way
  • Produce regular insight reports for stakeholders across the business
  • Support the delivery of internal research projects
  • Manage relationships with third-party research agencies and suppliers
  • Maintain a professional knowledge base, keeping up-to-date with news and developments in market research, customer insight and relevant financial services
  • Champion customer insight across the business, demonstrating the value of this function and reinforcing a customer-centric approach
  • Confident analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to identify trends, context and relevance
  • Unflagging attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Naturally curious with a passion to continuously improve established processes
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and numeracy skills
  • Desire to learn

Qualifications and experience

Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

Previous experience in Financial Services and Customer Insight / Market Research is beneficial but not essential.

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch).

Training

Relevant training will be provided.
