Brief description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insight Manager to join a growing team and support the development of a rapidly evolving customer data and market research strategy. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and committed to the continuous improvement of established processes.

Purpose of the role

Support the Head of Insight in the delivery of precise customer and market insight, striving to improve customer experience, influence business decision making and inform marketing and communication activities both internal and external.

Duties & responsibilities
Skills
  • Manage the delivery of established insight projects both internally and in partnership with third-party suppliers
  • Identify best practices and new opportunities for evolving insight projects
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and design effective and efficient research solutions
  • Present insights to internal stakeholders and ensure insight is being used to inform business change
  • Ensure all research subscriptions and partnerships are leveraged effectively
  • Maintain a professional knowledge base, keeping up-to-date with news and developments in market research, customer insight and relevant financial services
  • Support the Head of Insight in coordinating concurrent research projects and championing the use of insight across the business
  • Proven track record in survey design, using tools such as SurveyMonkey
  • Exceptional analytical and influencing skills to translate insight into action
  • A natural collaborator, confident presenting to and working with senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter, highly motivated to excel with minimal supervision
  • Proactive and determined approach to problem solving
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise

Qualifications and experience

Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

Previous experience in Customer Insight / Market Research is essential and experience in Financial Services would be beneficial.

Must have experience managing customer insight projects (qualitative and quantitative).

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch).

Relevant training will be provided.
