Brief description

This is a new opportunity to join our Sales Support Team within the Motor Finance department on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Sales Support Team Leader, the applicant needs to be effective team player with strong organisational and customer service skills with the ability to build excellent working relationships with our panel of introducers.

Purpose of the role

This position is responsible for providing support to our Regional Sales Managers as well as developing strong relationships with our Motor Dealers and Finance Brokers (Introducers) who will enhance Paragon’s Motor Finance Lending market share and reputation. You will also provide our Introducers with an excellent customer journey, to achieve all objectives.

Duties & responsibilities
  • To make regular contact with our Introducers, growing volume support of the desired quality by building trust between introducer and lender
  • Deliver an excellent service to our Introducers
  • To support introducers in an empathetic, confident and knowledgeable manner
  • Daily contact with the Underwriting and Business Support teams to ensure service standards are being met
  • To use introducer feedback to recommend and assist in the development of new processes and loan products
  • Provide support and complete administrative duties on behalf of the Regional Sales Manager
  • Assess and administer Introducer applications before they are sent for approval
  • Monitor and manage our existing pipeline business.
  • Produce management information for the Management Team  
  • Awareness, understanding and contribution in achieving the business area’s objectives

  • Basic experience of underwriting experience and ability to assess financial information is advantageous

Qualifications and experience

Preferably someone with experience in the motor. Proven customer service skills are essential along with strong communication skills.

Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Working hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch). Week one Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm and week two 9:30am to 6:00pm. (one hour for lunch).


Relevant training will be provided.
