Moray Hulme has been appointed as Director of Mortgage Sales at Paragon, expanding his remit to include product development for mortgages alongside continued leadership of the regional sales team.

Prior to his new appointment, Moray was Head of Mortgage Sales at Paragon and successfully led the regional sales team for more than ten years. He was instrumental in expanding the distribution of Paragon’s product range across the UK and in strengthening relationships with key intermediaries to deliver new mortgage lending of £1.6 billion in 2018.

Paragon’s specialist buy-to-let focus has seen its product range tailored increasingly towards the needs of portfolio landlords who have larger and more complex property portfolios. As a result, corporate and complex mortgage business has increased from 60% to 88% of completions since 2017.

Recent product releases include a short-term finance range to provide funding for refurbishment of rental properties, with service enhancements including a new portal for intermediaries to streamline case management.
