Paragon launches online product switches and further advance facility

Paragon launches online product switches and further advance facility for buy-to-let mortgage customers and intermediaries

  • Paragon launches new online portal for buy-to-let mortgage customers and intermediaries
  • For the first-time Paragon enables entirely online product switch process
  • Paragon also launches a new further advance facility, giving access to additional lending

Paragon is making it easier than ever to switch products and access additional lending through its new further advance facility, all online via a new portal available to buy-to-let mortgage customers and intermediaries.

For the first time, Paragon customers and intermediary partners will be able to choose a new product at the end of their fixed term agreement and switch online.

In addition, and also for the first time, Paragon has launched a further advance facility, enabling access to additional lending for landlords direct or via an intermediary.

John Heron, Managing Director – Mortgages at Paragon said:

Our aim is to ensure dealing with Paragon is always as simple and easy as possible. These developments are a crucial step towards futureproofing our service to customers and intermediary partners – and are just a couple of examples of the many investments we’re making in our buy-to-let mortgage process.
These new services are the latest in a recent succession of key developments from Paragon, following the launch of improved application management functionality for intermediaries across multiple platforms, the removal of valuation and admin fees on all Portfolio products, and the removal of the requirement of a floating charge on all applications from limited companies incorporated solely for the activity of holding and letting residential properties.
The improved application management service for intermediaries is available on the web and on the CaseTracker app which is available to download now from the Apple iTunes Store. Existing Paragon intermediaries can log in using the same user credentials they use to apply online and manage their buy-to-let mortgage applications quickly and simply, straight from a mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop device.

Inside the app, intermediaries are able to:

  • View their current list of pre-offer applications and associated outstanding tasks
  • Select an account and view the tasks by open, pending and completed
  • Respond to an outstanding task through the app, by uploading any comments and documents directly to Paragon's underwriting system
  • Call or email the Customer Relationship Team directly from the app
