Paragon Banking Group hosts Wellbeing Week to  bolster ongoing support for employee welfare

Solihull-headquartered Paragon Banking Group is supporting employee wellbeing, running a dedicated Wellbeing Week from 15-19 March, hosting a number of ‘drop-in’ sessions and activities structured around the topic.

Employee wellbeing has been a key focus for the company, which employs over 1,400 people across Solihull, Southampton, London and other UK locations, since the onset of the pandemic. With most employees working from home, virtual events are being held with third party speakers from the likes of The Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation and Weight Watchers.

Jennie Smith, Wellbeing Representative at Paragon, said: “The Wellbeing team is delighted to be able to organise these sessions for our people. We hope to appeal to as many colleagues as possible and provide them with information, support and advice about all aspects of their wellbeing. Looking after yourself and each other is so important at any time, let alone in light of the current pandemic situation which has impacted all of us in so many ways."

In addition to the sessions, there is a variety of wellbeing-focussed content being shared during the week, including articles covering an array of topics.

The Group has also launched quarterly wellbeing check-in surveys to monitor how its people are coping and support their welfare.
