Pride 2021

Pride is an opportunity to celebrate LGBTQ+ people around the world and consider what we can do to become more inclusive. Led by our EDI Network, we celebrated Pride at Paragon throughout June with a wide range of activities designed to show our support to the LGBTQ+ community and educate ourselves on the issues that matter.

What Pride means to me

Pride is about embracing difference and celebrating who we are. Members of our leadership team and EDI Network share what Pride means to them and why it’s important for us to celebrate together.

Pride at Paragon

Visible and vibrant

The rainbow flag is one of the most recognised symbols of Pride. Rainbow-inspired graphics over the entrance to our Solihull headquarters provided a colourful welcome to employees and visitors during June and gained some great feedback!

"Love this!! Looks amazing :)"
"Love it!!!!!!! YES TO THIS!! "
"So nice to walk in under the rainbow this morning, Looks great! "
"Looks amazing!! Great initiative! "

Birmingham Pride Carnival Parade

This year, for the very first time, Paragon will be taking part in the Birmingham Pride Carnival Parade on Saturday 25 September.

St Basils

Fundraising is an important part of Pride and employees raised money for St Basils, a charity that works closely with the LGBTQ+ community and provides accommodation and advice on housing issues to young people in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
