Robert has over 40 years' experience in UK financial services, including at board level, as CEO and Chair. During his executive career he held senior roles at Barclays. He was also CEO of Cattles, where he led the restructuring and wind down of its operations from 2010 to 2016. He has held positions as Chair of Vanquis Bank, Skipton Building Society and Hampshire Trust Bank. He has previously served as a Non-executive Director on the boards of Provident Financial Group, Skipton Building Society and Hampshire Trust Bank, where he was also Chair of the Risk Committee.
Robert holds a diploma in Financial Studies (DipFS) from the London Institute of Banking and Finance and is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Appointed to the Board as Treasury Director in 1990, becoming Finance Director in 1992 and Chief Executive in 1995.
Nigel’s early career began in investment banking, which included working for UBS where he ran its Financial Institutions Group. He joined the Group in 1987, becoming Treasurer shortly thereafter, before being appointed as Finance Director and then Chief Executive.
Nigel takes an active role in engaging with regulators and government on banking matters, particularly those which impact the UK mid-tier banking community.
He is a member of HM Treasury’s Home Finance Forum and, until September 2023, was on the Board of UK Finance. Nigel was previously Chair of UK Finance’s Specialist Bank Advisory Committee, Chair of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, Chair of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association, Chair of the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA) Consumer Finance Division and a board member of the FLA.
He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and in 2017 received an Honorary Doctorate from Birmingham City University for services to the finance industry.

Richard joined the Group in 1989 and has held various senior strategic and financial roles, including Director of Business Analysis and Planning and Managing Director of Idem Capital.
He has taken a lead role in the Group’s strategic development and, in particular, in the loan portfolio acquisition programme through Idem Capital and the Group’s Mergers and Acquisitions programme.

Alison is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner in PwC's financial services audit practice until the end of 2019. She joined PwC in 1982 and spent her career with the organisation in a range of internal and external audit roles across asset and wealth management, as well as banking and capital markets. She led audit projects for a range of banking clients, as well as other companies across the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 and held a number of leadership roles within PwC, including sitting on the executive management team which led their audit practice.

Tanvi brings a diverse range of skills and knowledge to the Board. With an executive career of more than 25 years, Tanvi began her career at Credit Suisse as a derivatives trader, then went on to work with IBM as a management consultant before joining ABN AMRO, and then Barclays Wealth where she was Managing Director of Global Research and Investments.
In 2015, Tanvi co-founded the wealth management firm, Saranac Partners, where she was CEO until 2021.
Tanvi’s non-executive career has also included roles on the Board of Ofqual, the qualifications and examinations regulator, and the Student Loans Company.

Zoe brings an extensive range of skills and experience to the Board. Zoe's executive career included over 16 years' experience at the Coca-Cola Company across a variety of roles that culminated in her role as UK Marketing Director.
Zoe is a Board member of AG Barr PLC, a FTSE 250 consumer goods business, where she is Chair of the ESG Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee.
She is also a Fellow of Chapter Zero, which works in partnership with the Global Climate Initiative to build a community of Non-executive Directors equipped to lead crucial UK boardroom discussions on the impact of climate change as organisations transition from ambition to action.

Graeme was Group Chief Executive of Principality Building Society, the 6th largest mutual in the UK. He has over 49 years’ experience in financial services having carried out a number of senior roles in Abbey National (now Santander) including IT Director for the Retail Bank, Regional Director and running a number of significant change programmes.
Graeme has served on the CBI Council for Wales, the Board of Business in the Community (BITC) in Wales and was HRH Prince Charles, Ambassador for BITC in Wales for two years.
He was awarded Director of the Year in Wales by the Institute of Directors in 2016. Graeme is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration by Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2017.

Barbara has worked in finance for most of her career, in New York, London and Paris at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Standard & Poor’s and JP Morgan. She was instrumental in the development of UK mortgage securitisation in the late 1980s and went on to lead the Standard & Poor’s Ratings Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Barbara is currently a Non-executive Director of ORX in Switzerland, a trade association for non-financial operating risk professionals (including cyber risk), and a Director of ORX UK Limited. Until recently, she was a Non-executive Director of Open Banking Limited.

Nigel is Chief Executive of Paragon Banking Group.

Richard joined Paragon in 2020. In his previous role he was the Managing Director of Mortgages for Bank of Ireland and he has almost three decades of Retail Banking leadership experience across five major UK banks.
Richard joined the UK Finance Mortgage Product and Service Board in 2016 and became Chair in 2019. Richard is a member of the Buy-to-let Committee for UK Finance.
Richard is a non-executive director of Progress Together, part of a Government commissioned taskforce led by the City of London Corporation to improve socio-economic diversity in financial services. He has been awarded Freedom of the City of London for his work in this field.
Richard is an associate member of the Charted Institute of Bankers and hold an honours degree in financial services.
Dave is Managing Director of Commercial Lending and is responsible for SME lending, development finance and motor finance.
He joined the Group in 1988 and has worked across the business in various roles including Idem Capital and Consumer Operations.
Michael joined Paragon in 2018 as Strategic Development Director and is also responsible for the savings business and structured lending.
Previously he was Co-Head of European Bank Equity Research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, specialising in UK bank research since 2001.
Zish joined the Group in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer with responsibilities that include delivery of high quality operational, data and technology services, as well as strategic and change execution.
Prior to joining the Group, Zish has held a variety of financial services executive level roles, including Chief Operating Officer at Aldermore Bank and Chief Operating Officer at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Europe – Technology & Operations. He has nearly 25 years of financial services experience across three continents and is an experienced board level executive.
Peter joined Paragon in 2010 as the Treasury and Structured Finance Director. His responsibilities include the development and implementation the Group’s funding and securitisation strategy and management of its cash and liquidity requirements.
Prior to joining Paragon, Peter was with UBS for 16 years, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Securitisation.
Peter has an MBA from London Business School and a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Anne is the Group’s Chief People Officer and is responsible for managing the people strategy. This includes: resourcing and organisational design, pay and benefits, reward, learning and management development, succession planning, performance management and employee engagement. She is a non-executive director of Citysave Credit Union. Anne previously worked at HBOS and Allianz. Anne is Chartered FCIPD qualified.
Deborah is the Group’s External Relations Director responsible for leading Paragon’s external and internal communication strategies. This comprises the Group’s marketing and communications programmes, including: public relations, investor relations, internal communications and public affairs. Her responsibilities also include the development and implementation of the Group’s ESG/sustainability programmes. Deborah joined the Group in 1991.
Marius joined Paragon in 2019 as General Counsel. He brings extensive board, regulatory and legal experience to the Group. Prior to joining Paragon, Marius spent five years with Aldermore and ten years at Santander. He is a qualified solicitor.
Ben joined Paragon in 2014 and became Chief Risk Officer of the Bank in 2015. He was appointed Deputy Chief Risk Officer of the Group in 2017 and Chief Risk Officer of the Group in 2020. He previously spent nearly ten years working at KPMG and has held senior risk roles at Unity Trust Bank. Ben is a Chartered Accountant.
